Whether you're from Kyabram, Tongala, Moama, Echuca, Wyuna—or just passing through—you’ll find a warm welcome and clear skies at EMMAC! We’re a passionate crew of aero modellers who love nothing more than spending Sundays soaring, chatting, and soaking up the sunshine at our beautiful flying field.

🌤 Sundays Are for Flying!
Each weekend, our members gather to fly all sorts of model aircraft—from nimble gliders to roaring scale warbirds. It’s a relaxed, friendly vibe where you can fly, learn, swap stories, and enjoy the peaceful surrounds. Whether you're a seasoned pilot or just curious, there's always room on the flight line.

📍 Where We Fly
Our field is nestled on Watsons Rd, Koyuga, flanked by the Kanyapella Game Reserve and just a stone’s throw from the Goulburn River. We’re close to the Falcon Hotel and only 15 minutes from the historic Port of Echuca. Cross the river and you’re in Moama, NSW—so we truly fly at the crossroads of two great states!

🛩 A Field with History
Since 1985, our field has been home to countless flights and friendships. In 2014, the VMAA secured its future by purchasing the land, creating the “VMAA Flying Field – Echuca,” with EMMAC proudly managing and flying from it ever since.

🎉 Events & Fun Fly Days
Every April, we host our annual “Fun Fly”—a public event packed with flying displays, camaraderie, and community spirit. We also host other VMAA events throughout the year, so keep an eye on our calendar!

👋 New to Flying? Come Say Hi!
We love welcoming newcomers and visiting members. Our experienced flyers are always happy to help beginners get started—whether it’s setting up your model, learning the field rules, or taking your first flight. We even run “Come and Try” days where you can take the controls with guidance from a club member!

🍳 Facilities & Flying Comfort
Our field features smooth East-West and North-South runways, plenty of open space, and a scenic clump of trees that gliders love. There’s a kitchen on-site, so you can cook up lunch, relax, and enjoy the aerial show from the comfort of our shaded seating area.

🌞 Great Weather, Great Flying
Thanks to our stable regional climate, we fly almost every weekend. Sure, it can get warm—but it’s rarely too hot or cold to enjoy a day at the field.

📝 Membership Made Easy
We offer flying and social memberships at reasonable rates. Whether you want to take to the skies or just be part of the action, there’s a membership option for you. (See our application form for details.)
